Cozy Critters started with a stroke of my pen.
Characters that come to mind start out with a drawing and before you know it, there’s a whole “family” style. Then, my next step was specs. Drawings, Pantones, fabric choices and measurements so the factory can bring it to life.
After that comes logo, fonts, brand guide and packaging.
When the product and packaging came in, we all did our own quality control, comments, photos and video back to the factory. When everything was ready, we did our own photography and sell sheets, updating as product came in so we could sell to major retailers like Homegoods, Burlington, Walmart and more.

Packaging and product design also involved a mix of my own ideas, the teams ideas, and some more custom graphics and illustrations. There was nothing more fun to me than drawing characters or characters on packaging, then have it arrive magically to our office in real-life. I loved that feeling, and I carried that with me to my next job at PIC where I drew mosquito eliminating devices and brands that resonated. Most importantly, with my team, we helped families conquer their mosquito and pest problems all over the world.
